The moon pulls on water, the sun warms it. Together, they create predictable patterns of fish activity. Twice a day, fish feed more aggressively.
When the moon is directly overhead or underfoot, that’s a Major Period (~2 hours of peak feeding). When it’s on the horizon, a Minor Period (~1 hour, steady activity).
